Here we go again.

Every January millions of Americans decided that this is the year. This is the year that they get fit.  This is the year that they put the screens down. This is the year that they spend more time as a family. This is the year…

…Until February.

But what if it were the year? What if this year were different from all of the previous years?

The problem with New Year resolutions is that each year we make the same wish list and then use the same methods to obtain them and then get the same results. That is literally the definition of insanity.

You see, the problem isn’t with the goals it’s with your approach. This year change it up. Martial arts is the one activity in which everyone in your entire family can achieve their goals in a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.

Preschool age children learn and develop the skills necessary for future success in school. No, not kicking and punching. They learn teamwork, expand their memory, and improve focus to help accomplish any task.

Children and teenagers develop unshakeable confidence. Confidence to tackle the most difficult schoolwork and assignments. Confidence to stand up to bullies and peer pressure. Confidence to be themselves and flourish. All while also becoming more disciplined with chores and homework.

Adults finally get the fitness they so desperately need in a setting that is actually fun. Gains in flexibility and strength come quickly, and martial arts training provides fantastic stress relief. The combination of physical and mental health improves sleep and performance at work. Plus, steady improvement only requires 90 minutes of training each week.

So why not give something new a shot. I mean, in the back of your mind you know that the gym isn’t for you right? You know that everything else hasn’t worked right? You know that you need something different right?   Click here to make this year THE year.
