We believe that the time between the ages of three and six are the most important years of a child’s development.
It is a fact that preschool aged children learn differently than older children. Young children learn best in a positive, energetic, and fun environment. The Little Dragons program uses this type of environment to teach the developmental skills necessary for success in school and in interactions with other children. Your preschooler will learn and develop eight key developmental skills in our program: focus, fitness, memory, discipline, coordination, balance, teamwork, and control.
These skills will help them enter school and peer relations with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook. They will become better students in school, better listeners at home, and more ambitious towards the future.
Preschoolers find that Taekwondo:
- Helps promote courtesy towards parents, elders and school teachers
- Develops strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, coordination, and balance
- Encourages better behavior in the classroom and home
- Improves self-esteem and self-confidence
